The 16th Annual Captain Tamara Long-Archuleta Memorial Open Karate Championships Tournament was a great success!
Almost 200 competitors representing 15 schools competed in 94 Divisions for a day of excellent competition. Thanks to everyone’s support we were able to raise $5000.00 for the Scholarship Program to be awarded next year.
The Tournament opened with the WOMEN VETERAN WARRIORS Color Guard
The National Anthem was sung by Isabella Carrillo. She is also a Belen Goju Ryu Karate Brown Belt.
The Opening Prayer was delivered by Rev. Robert Browning with the Church of the Redeemer.
